Therapist ~ Reiki Practitioner
- Angelic Reiki
- Reiki Drumming
Clare helps Julia with the day to day running of The Sanctuary and over the years has developed a passion for Reiki and Healing.
Clare has been djembe drumming since 2019 and has a real love for it.
When Clare discovered she could incorporate drumming and Reiki she couldn’t wait to train as a Reiki Drum Practitioner. All of the healing modalities are beautiful but Clare has discovered that the reiki drum is incredible for going deeper into the subconscious to deliver deep healing, this can especially help with Trauma and Addictions.
Clare also collaborates with other therapists for workshops to deliver group Reiki Drum Healings, so look out for these on our facebook/Instagram pages or contact Clare to see what’s coming up.
Reiki is a beautiful energy healing modality where the practitioner uses hands off and hands on treatment. The body stores emotional blockages and in turn can cause physical and emotional imbalance or illness. Reiki helps to restore the body back into balance to promote self healing. Reiki is good for emotional wellbeing, and letting go of all that doesn’t serve you for your highest good. It also promotes physical wellbeing and your immune system. Reiki equates to flushing out the old and giving your whole system a reboot. If this sounds like something you would like please get in touch.
Angelic Reiki is very similar to Usui Reiki but a more spiritual experience. Angelic Reiki calls upon the higher realms, spirit guides, guardian angels and the practitioners own angel to perform the healing. With Usui Reiki the practitioner is purely a channel for the universal energy, whereas Angelic Reiki Healing comes straight from the angelic realms. People have often experienced a very light floaty feeling of sheer bliss and comfort. I will hold the space for you and connect with the angelic realms to request their healing for your highest good. Your treatment will be in a protected space.
Research shows that brain activity is affected by drumming, and there are studies showing how the sounds of a drum can help with illness and emotional trauma.
Drumming has been linked with improving the immune system, helping Alzheimer’s patients, building self esteem, and supporting recovering drug addicts and alcoholics.
Reiki Drum practitioners use the drum to introduce Reiki into the client’s body, shifting blockages and rebalancing the energy field. The bringing together of these two systems means that the energy of the drum becomes gentle, protective and works for the highest good of the client just as in a normal Reiki treatment.
The technique is broken down into three main types of session:
- Basic Reiki Drum Healing, where the drum is used intuitively over the client’s body to deliver a deep healing treatment, followed by a hands-on Reiki session to fully integrate the work and ground the client
- Mental/Emotional Reprogramming Technique, where the intuitive drum treatment is combined with the use of powerful positive affirmations to support growth. These affirmations are tailored to the individual.
- Reiki Drum Journey Technique, where the practitioner uses the drum to take the client into a deep meditative state to receive insight, spiritual guidance and healing.
