  • ‘Jayne made me feel very comfortable and is insightful and knows her stuff. She helped me to really change the anxiety spiral that I was in, and I’m now enjoying life again. I would highly recommend her to anyone suffering with anxiety’.
  • ‘I knew something wasn’t right, I was becoming more and more withdrawn, irritable, stressed. Small things at work that I’d normally be able to sail through were starting to feel insurmountable. I couldn’t concentrate at work and felt like I was failing even though I was working long hours. I was finding it hard to sleep, to function. I felt really low. Jayne helped me to stand back and ‘see the wood for the trees’. I made adjustments to how I was living, my perception of things, how I was communicating at work and home, how I reacted to things. I have changed lots of things and life is now better than it’s been for years. Everyone in the house is happier because of this’.
  • ‘There was a repetitive pattern of me being in difficult relationships. Jayne helped me to understand this and to break patterns in my relationships so I’m not constantly reacting to things and now feel like I’m actually able to have a healthy, adult relationship for the first time in my life’.

What happens?

It is important that you find a therapist that feels like a good 'fit' for you. To help you to decide if Jayne is a good fit for you, there is an initial conversation on the phone or online to talk about the changes that you would like to make and to answer any questions that you might have.

In the first session you will talk in more detail about the difficulties you are experiencing and what goals you might have for therapy. Jayne will answer questions that you may have about therapy and explain what kind of therapies could be used.

Jayne says "I understand that it can be anxiety provoking to talk about personal difficulties and as such I tailor my approach to suit clients. If you are finding it hard to talk I will ask more questions, and if you have a lot to say then I will listen more. You are also welcome to include another person in the session if that feels more comfortable. If you decide to continue we would agree a plan for therapy and a timescale in which we review regularly to ensure that you are getting what you want and need from therapy. "
