Dr Prathima Nagesh is a highly experienced Ayurvedic physician with over 20 years of international clinical and academic practice. She specialises in cancer care, autoimmune conditions, women’s health, and chronic illness, combining her deep-rooted Ayurvedic heritage with modern clinical research.
Trained at SDM College of Ayurveda, India, Dr Nagesh holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and a Doctorate (MD) in Panchakarma. In 2020, she completed advanced training in clinical research at Harvard Medical School. Her holistic approach integrates personalised treatments, including dietary guidance, herbal therapies, and detoxification protocols designed to restore balance and promote long-term wellbeing.
Dr Nagesh has played a significant role in shaping Ayurveda’s global practice and education, contributing to UK regulatory committees, advising the Indian government on Ayurvedic curriculum development, and reviewing key WHO projects. She has also lectured extensively in the UK, helping to train the next generation of Ayurvedic practitioners.
