We Have Treatment Rooms Available For Therapists
The Upminster Sanctuary is a purpose-built therapy centre for Complementary Healing and Teaching, set in a beautiful, tranquil haven in the Essex countryside all within easy reach of Romford, Hornchurch and Brentwood.
With good parking and overspill parking facilities are available. There is also easy access by car from the A127, A12, A13 and M25.
Each room has been designed to a high standard to provide the therapist with a safe, practical and professional space to work.
The use of soft lighting, gentle music and essential oils creates a calm and relaxing ambiance throughout the Sanctuary.
There is also a pleasant waiting area with a library of amazing books, should your clients arrive early, and they might not want to leave.
For those wishing to host Workshops and Classes both the Apple Barn and Bramble Studio are available!
The Sanctuary is open to welcoming new therapists and tutors who are passionate about holistic healing and teaching. Practitioners can rent therapy rooms or teaching areas at reasonable rates, providing a relaxing environment to offer treatments or conduct classes. However, to ensure alignment with the Sanctuary’s ethos, all therapists and tutors must:
Be fully qualified and experienced in their respective fields.
Hold valid insurance and be registered with relevant governing bodies.
Share a spiritual alignment with the Sanctuary’s belief.
There are four treatment rooms, named Ash, Oak, Elder and Hornbeam. Each one is well equipped for all types of therapy treatments:

The Bramble teaching room
This unique space offers ample space for an 8-strong Yoga class, but is cosy enough for a meeting or workshop with chairs and tables.

The Apple Barn
With traditional oak beams Apple Barn is a great space for small to medium size workshops, especially healing and meditation.
- Fully insulated with two powerful heaters, this space offers a touch of magic.
- It can hold a group of 8 to 10 people comfortably on chairs which are provided.
- Therapy beds or tables are also available.
- There are tea and coffee making facilities with mugs for refreshments.
- You can also enjoy the landscaped gardens which are situated between ley lines, the perfect healing space.
