• I have been regular client of Julia’s for the past 10 years. I have tried reflexology and healing, and loved them both. Whenever I book an appointment with Julia, she always has plenty of time for me and I can’t imagine how I would have dealt with challenges that life has presented me in the past years without Julia’s professional help. Last week I have received healing on distance, due to Covid 19 restrictions, and I was amazed how powerful it was despite us being miles apart. I can’t recommend Julia and her Sanctuary enough.

  • An angel that walks among men. This amazing lady helped me come back together again, stronger than ever. The sanctuary is simply heaven on earth!

About Lucy

I graduated from Middlesex University in 2014 with a degree in Homeopathy and a Licentiate from the Centre for Homeopathic Education. I set up my practice, Natural Rebel, shortly after I graduated and I have been practicing homeopathy ever since. I never cease to be amazed at the profound effect homeopathy can have both on my life and the lives of my patients. It is my passion and the aim of my homeopathic practice is to empower you to take back control of your own health and tap into the innate healing ability of your body.

I am dedicated to continual professional development taking courses in Reiki and nutrition among others and continue to work with the Centre for Homeopathic education as a clinical and teaching assistant.

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a 200-year-old system based on the principle that 'Like Cures Like', meaning a substance that causes symptoms of disease in a healthy person will cure similar symptoms in a sick person. It is a complementary and alternative approach to medicine, which is safe, gentle, effective and used by over 1.5 billion people around the world. It is a patient centred practice which prescribes remedies based on the symptoms displayed by the individual. The remedies spark your body into gently healing itself, from the inside out, returning you to a balanced and maintainable state of health.

Homeopathic remedies are made from highly diluted substances that stimulate the body's natural healing. They are non-toxic, non-addictive and safe for everyone, even if you are already on other forms of medication, pregnant or nursing.

Why does Homeopathy work?

Your body loves you and is highly intelligent, it is constantly attempting to remain healthy and balanced no matter what environmental or physical stresses are placed on it. We become ill when the body is unable to maintain this balance and so it throws out symptoms to let you know there are problems which need to be addressed. Unlike other systems of medicine, homeopathy does not try to cover these symptoms pushing the problem deeper into the body, instead our remedies work with the body to target the root cause of the problem, allowing it to find its balance again.

What happens in a consultation?

The initial consultation will take up to ninety minutes. We will discuss everything from the reason you have come to see me, other health issues, traumatic events in your life, family health history and anything else you think I should know about you. The thing to remember is that I am tailoring the remedy prescription to you, the whole of you, so the more you tell me the more accurately I can prescribe.

Follow up appointments last about 45 to 60 minutes and allow us to discuss any changes to your health and review progress.

The length of time needed for treatment is different for each person and is dependent on many factors including the condition itself, how long you have suffered with the condition, medications and maintaining causes of illness etc.

Appointments are normally spaced around five to six weeks apart to allow the remedy time to act and for your body to heal. Homeopathic treatment is a process and you will move from remedy to remedy as your symptom picture changes, and your body and mind return to health, so it is important to be consistent with appointments. Typically, you will see me once a month of a minimum of four to five months, however, more chronic conditions may require more sessions.
